Where is Len Kosmalski? All SEC every year he played. Dane Bradshaw being on this list is embarrassing.

Dane Bradshaw being on that team is akin to Star Jones being made an SI swimsuit model.

Went to the game today. Great seeing those former players. Amazing that Bradshaw made the list. Top five would be King, Grunfeld, Houston, Lofton, & Ellis. Great to have Coach DeVoe there to help with the presentation. John Ward spoke at the banquet. It would be nice if they put a DVD together about the 100 years of Vol basketball. I too would put Mike Jackson or even Rodney Woods ahead of Bradshaw.

The fans that voted Bradshaw to the list are obviously people who started paying attention to UT hoops around the time Bruce Pearl arrived here. A travesty. If we needed one more "modern-era" player, here's a simple fix: drop Bradshaw, add JaJuan Smith. Hell, I would take Brandon Crump over Bradshaw. Or Isiah Victor. Or even Tony Harris. Ridiculous.

Dane could have won the all-time Class Act award by stepping up to the mic during the ceremony and saying, "It's a great honor to be chosen by the fans, but I cannot justify putting myself in the company of these elite players, so I am graciously bowing out."

There ya go lofton! Was very glad to see a college player like him on one of my teams during my lifetime.

I'm upset that Kevin Nash didn't get any consideration based on his career after he left Knoxville.

Who are the best five? I really don't know, but wondered who you guys would pick.

Bernie, Ernie, Dale, Al, and ?

I would give consideration to Ron Widby. I watched him light it up for 50 points one night without a three point arc.

Led the team to a SEC Championship.

Nope. Good player but not top five.

Top five would be:

King
Ellis
Grunfeld
Johnson
Houston

Lofton might have a hard time making next five

Ahh, the Roth vs. LSU reference. Definitely a classic.
It's sort of sad that a big white oaf hitting a 3 pointer down by about 20 points and then flipping off an arena full of cajuns was about the most memorable thing that happened that year.

No lie. If the list is going to be this ridiculous, let's also make some phone calls to see if we can find Lang Wiseman and Doug Roth.

I had successfully blocked those names from memory. Thanks for helping me relive the glorious Wade Houston era.
