Haynesworth as a DL coach would be nasty but I feel bad for the Titans. The guy acts like he wants to stay but then just bolts. Does anyone know what the Titans were offering him?

i was informed last week of the story that happened in latter part of 2008. a guy i go to church with has a brotherinlaw in Nashville that has a successful law practice. his brother in law is representing the man that was hit. they were waiting for him to sign the contract to sue... sorry it took so long to put the info up.

Why is it that so many people automatically assume that great players will make great coaches?

haha i kno i dont understand that at all? i mean AH is a great DT but wasnt it two years ago he stepped on a dallas cowboys head? i mean great player great guy..i just dont see that man as a great coach! but al wilson bring him on!

Because a great player that understands the game and is also a very good leader will more than likely be a good coach.

Haynesworth was never a leader. I also doubt he even has a shade of Manning or Wilson's understanding of the game... not to mention their leadership.

I get the propping of Manning (though I doubt he will ever coach... that man belongs in the commentary booth) or Wilson as coaches... but not Haynesworth.

That's one way to look at it, I guess.

On the other hand, look at the majority of the best, or even all, coaches in sports. How many of them were exceptionally talented in their playing days, if they even played at all?
