I just listened to him on the Dan lebatard show a week ago. This is so sad.

Wow, thin guy, active, not exactly what you expect when you hear heart attack. 69 is not old by today's standards.

I was 55 when I had a heart attack and had a triple bypass. I was 155 lbs at the time. I thought he was younger than that. RIP AT

Worst ****ing year. My family lost 3 people, and so many popular figures that society loved as well.

Dang, I always liked him. The last thing I remember him doing was a guest spot on How I Met Your Mother where he played himself and he was pretty funny.

His best contribution to entertainment by far, the theme song for Diff'rent Strokes, which he wrote and performed on.

I thought Tony Danza (Micelli) was the **** because his back story was professional baseball. It's a close call.

Alan's name on Growing Pains was after Tom Seaver. Their neighbors were the Koosmans.

RIP Alan. I saw him in the play 'Chicago' years ago. Talented guy that did lots of good work.
