Alabama vs Tennessee—1995

Alabama has always been the dirtiest program on the planet. Win at all cost mentality. I have lived in Alabama and can promise you their fans will have an uprising if they miss the playoffs again. It wouldn't surprise me if the state implements some sort of statewide tax to raise more NIL money.

ell oh ell at two things
1. all the times we passed on first down (but PF was too predictable and conservative)
2. the look on Gene Stallings's face when Kitchens was trying to explain the fumble near the end of 1Q

What a fantastic game! They’ve beaten us so much and so bad that my Alabama friends don’t even remember the games because there were no big ones from 2010 until 2022 😆. We remember Alabama wins like our kids first steps. Hopefully that’s over for my last years on earth.

The 1995 game was pent up frustration for the last 10 years vs Bama. So many ridiculous games in this those previous 10 years where we handed Bama the win on a silver platter. Those games against Bama are why I hate ultra conservative game plans, playing scared, any playing not to lose. We finally had an aggressive game plan in 1995.

on the close Alabama failure to get the first down in the 1st Q, this was clearly before Saban. Here is how things were "adjusted" after the lil guy showed up:

I loved that game in 95. What year did we go and beat them at their place in multiple overtimes? Bammer tears are the best!
I think the 5 ot game with bama was 04. I was at the 95 game . I was 14. We tried to storm the field. Bama state troopers beat them back with billy clubs. So the story goes

Edit it stand corrected it was 03.not 04.
