Bama seems to find a way, though. Even Stallings managed to sooth their grief between Bear and Saban. Just please give us 15 years until that happens again.

Saban left with NIL, when tables became even. He is a focused/determined coach, but when the bags $$ evened up it messed up their setup. Gonna be an interesting year.

I think the transfer portal more than NIL is what really ran him off. His very aggressive tough style of coaching won’t keep 4-5 star guys in place on the bench for depth. He had to soften and play to egos more to keep them there and it’s not him or his style.

FSU ran all over them. The FSU QB had an average day but didn't really need to do more because Bama couldn't stop the run. They have 5 stars all over the field but that Bama defense is a shell of the defenses that Saban used to trot out there. Unfortunately, Kirby also has 5 star talent all over the field and his defenses are elite. Perhaps the Bama coach is a bit overrated? If they miss the playoffs for a second year, you would have to say he coaches his players down rather than up. Bama also rushed for 87 yards total. Not gonna work in the SEC and unfortunately for them, Vandy didn't drop off their schedule this year.

Yea you can’t gray shirt 5* anymore when there more money to chase.
