Who would you rather play in the SEC championship game? i personally would rather play Bama, just because they beat us and it would take our great rivalry to the next level. They embarrassed us, and I believe that we could beat them. LSU, well, i think they are one of the best teams in the nation....

Given the Vols performance against Bama the first time around I would not think anyone who wears the orange would want to tussle with them again this year.

as for ukvols post, I do think that UTK is perfectly capable of winning or losing all three of its final conference games. Given the injury situation in Fayetteville, Arky is probably the easiest SEC game left on the schedule. Vandy has proven that they can now compete for 4 quarters and I'm sure we can all imagine a nighmare situation where Woodson passes for 350+ yards on the Vols.

If we were able to reach the SECC, either team would beat us if we played like we did against AL. Although I would love a re-match with AL, I don't have any confidence that our performance would be any better....we should have been sky-high for that game...it was a chance for Fulmer to make a statement to all the bammers who hate him with a passion but we had no adrenalin, no plan and no inspiration. Besides, I hope LSU hammers the bammers and $abean!

if we were vying for the national title, you'd have to hope for a match up against LSU...

but since we're not in the race, i'd prefer to see a rematch with bama.
traditionally, it's tougher to beat a team twice in the same year... plus, we just need quick revenge on the elephants.

Thats difficult to say. Either team could probably beat us but I like our chances with alabama a little better.

We would have a better shot with Bama. But that would mean I would have to pull for Bama win tomorrow and I just can't bring myself to do that.

While I would greatly enjoy beating yall twice in one season, I want to avenge our only conference loss which was to Georgia in OT.

BAMMER will lose two more SEC games before it's all said and done. On that note, I imagine we'll drop at least one more before the end of the season.

But, in imaaaaaagiiiinaaatiooooonLAND, I'd like to face BAMMER in the SEC championship.

I'm torn.

I want to play LSU so that we can get rid of the demons from 01. We are in their position and they will be in ours if they make it. It would be nice to turn the tables.

However, we have never played Bama for the SEC Championship since divisional play and there is 0% chance the game turns out the same way. The things Bama did to expose Tennessee the first time, are things that can't be easily duplicated in a second game. I would very much like to see Phil beat Bama for an SEC Title.

As to what I said about Arky being the easiest SEC game left on the schedule due to thier injuries, I may have to scratch that and say Vandy is the easiest one left due to the fact that I heard Monk will see some action this week, which means he could be much healed when the Vols face Arky. Give Arky any kind of deep threat to keep you from putting 9 in the box and we know what can happen from last year. The Vols may be getting Arky at a very inopportune time if the Razorbacks are healed up. Hopefully, SC will give them a very physical game this week.

This is out of the blue, but I am on this thread now so I will ask. Is Vandy/UF the Lincoln Financial game this week?

bama. if our coaches and players cant get up for revenge and beat bama after getting their as*** handed to them this year, then the football program should be completely dismantled...players and coaches, and start rebuilding from scratch.

Alafreakinbama, no question about it. Imagine playing bama for the SEC title after a year like we have all had? It would be great. I don't see CPF losing to them twice in the same season, and if we did, it would more than likely be the final nail (maybe). Anyway, thats my opinion, but they still gotta beat LSU, which I don't think will happen, and we gotta win out, which Im not too sure we can do either. For us to make it would be great, but only if we win it. Thats my opinion.

Tide rolls this weekend...Satan will out coach them, and LSU not having Perilouex (sp) will have no backup plan when Matt Damon goes down....Flynn playing in front of that rowdy bunch in Alabama will choke imo...Dorsey is banged up and playing with a knee brace...I may be wrong but I see Bama winning this one...

rather be LSU even though the chances would be better with Bama. I can't stand to hear all the Bama fans talking about SEC championship since they picked up Satan.

if we did make it to the seccg i would rather play lsu because if we beat them it proves that we belong in a bcs bowl
