I've been looking for the gametime for the UT/Alabama game. I thought it was supposed to be released today. I know CBS was a possibility for picking it up. Just wondering if they picked the Auburn/LSU game instead of the UT game. That would slide the game into an ESPN time slot. Anyone have any info on this?

UT-ALABAMA START TIME NOT YET DETERMINED
CBS requested from the Southeastern Conference and has been granted a third and final six-day selection for games on Oct. 20. CBS will televise either Tennessee’s game at Alabama or Florida’s visit to Kentucky, with Lincoln Financial carrying the game not selected by CBS.

Wow! If that game is on LFS I will crap my pants. It is one of the biggest rivalries of the year. It will def. bring in more viewing than Fla vs Kentucky. Saban vs Fulmer, 3rd Sat in Oct. BIG RIVALRY. It shouldn't be hard.

WOW... Lincoln Financial is a possiblity, huh? When is the last time one of the big markets did not pick up this game? Late 80's?

it'll be on at 3.30 most likely. But if TN loses next week to Miss St it'll be on LF.

I just heard that CBS will only get UF-UK if UK upsets LSU, therefore we should be watching TN-BAMA on CBS.:pepper:

Am I the only one who would rather listen to LF announcers than Verne and Gary The Gator Gobbler??

No, I cannot stand Mr. Lundquist. However, I enjoy the thought of UT being on national tv. One major reason if for national exposure.

CBS is possibly considering Kentucky at the 3:30 slot two weekends in a row for the football team??

3:30 eastern. Put money on it.

Actually, didn't CBS announce that some of the games they televise this year will kickoff at 4:30 ET instead of the traditional 3:30 start? I thought the start date to that was Oct 20th. Maybe I am dreaming.

If I'm not dreaming, maybe this is a hint from cbssportsline.com. Next to the Alabama game, it has a 4:30 ET starting time.

I personally would like to see the game on at 11:30 central time so I don't have to wait all freaking day. haha

Man, it's hard as hell to get work covered for me if they keep moving these games around.

Atleast it's CBS's last chance to go to a six day window. That means we should know the SC game time after this week's games too.

I would think Ms. St at Kentucky will be LF
Then either Florida-Georgia or South Carolina Tennessee will be 3:30 with the other going to ESPN.
Personally, I hope we get the ESPN night game.

so I do realize that the cbs game is a much better game, but I prefer going to the night games so much more!

Also, my wife has to work that morning and she can go to the game with me if it is at night
