Craver is a pretty damn good talent. I really hope this is him changing his mind and not us telling him he doesn’t have a spot. Surely we would have told him two days ago when he was announcing a commitment date that we weren’t ready rather than pulling the rug out the day of?

It's better to not take the commitment this early and risk losing him than having the optics of giving him a git shirt later when he would have been committed for over a year. While similar to Squirrel White in stature, he's not on the same level at this point (not as explosive). You still continue to recruit him just as hard and we should be fine, but if we go 9-3 or better, we land some of these 5 stars in '24 that we finished second for in '23.
