Was traded to the Giants, but he failed his physical - trade agreement is void.

Weird.

The criteria for passing a physical differs between every team, so while he may have a neck problem, the Giants could have failed him so they would not have to pay him.

That really makes sense. Let's go through the motions of trading for a player knowing that we want to fail him on the physical. :eek:k: Many sports analysts are saying that the Giants' trainers are probably being extremely conservative now due to the fact that they got burned on the Lavar Arrington deal. He could very well pass the physical for another team and end up being traded elsewhere. If not, he'll end up back on the Broncos.

Al Wilson is 20x the linebacker Arrington is. Lavar is a pass rusher. Al Wilson is a complete defender. With Tiki leaving and Stahan getting old, I think Wilson would be the best player on that team.

I'd suggest whole heartedly that Al Wilson consider retiring to a quiet life as a Vols defensive coach in some compacity.:good!:

Yeah the Steelers and the Dolphins. Porter coming to Miami is the revisit of the Brian Cox/Jr Seau experiments, man how many times you gotta suck at trading before it becomes obvious? Miami's becoming the raiders of the east coast.:no:

Porter was a pretty good p/u for the dolphins....he's still got somethign in the tank, though he's not the same guy he was 2-3 years ago...but still solid. i know i wasn't exactly thrilled when they let him go.

but i was thinking Steelers or Panthers. but again, it's not like AW is getting any younger.....he's been in the league, what 8 or 9 years now?

I sure hope you're right jake, but I'm pretty sure your not. Porter is a used to be, if he was'nt they wouldnt have traded him, that or a thug liability. Either way dolphins lose, again.

it wasn't a trade. it was a cap move. they simply cut him cause they didn't want to pay him......

may have to change that to "was the man" if he doesn't pass a physical and get hooked up with someone.
