He's a fan of the team/school/coach. It's not rocket surgery.

Point being have high level kids that are already committed recruit Mims. Kids a 5* so you really just throw the book at him regardless of how trivial it may seem.

As for Brooks, it was well chronicled early on in his recruitment that he has family members and ties to Knoxville so the ability to come up and hang out with family and be in town with Mims and potentially other prospects is an easy decision for the Alabama native.
