Lord, he would be awesome in this offense. He's exactly what we need.

And yeah, "wiggle" is a good term for what Gillespie was describing. Anyway, I thought that was some interesting insight into what a good RB evaluator is looking for, and worth sharing. There are so many styles of RBs...speed, power, big, little...but ultimately, it's about getting more yards than the line blocks.

You just wonder is Whitehead done. This kid highlights look the same as Stallings. Big back with some speed who gets North and South. The one thing missing from film is vision and lateral cuts. He may have these traits but just don't know from Video. So I take it as if he comes to TN then Stallings is not. In CHRIST Alone

Watch again. Sometimes it's the subtle movements for a running back when they hit the line of scrimmage that's important. Just a slight stutter step, or hesitation sometimes is all it takes. The guys that can do this are many times the ones that didn't seem to have an impressive game until you look at the stat sheet. Not flashy but end up with 20 carries for 120 yards consistently.

One thing to note about Keith is that Parker HS is in AL 6A, which is the second highest classification in a state that obviously has bigtime high school football. So he's playing damn good competition every week.

We needed a big back like this against UGA. Whitehead is gone after this season and more will be told to move on as well. Gotta make room for a full class and transfers.

Marshawn Lynch would not have helped this team on Saturday. Once Hooker was out of it nothing worked. The team revolves around him and he just had an off day. If Hooker comes out and settles down and plays how we know he can, Small/Wright would have been fine getting the yards we need.

Actually to offset the way they schemed us Saturday you really have to be able to run the ball and the offense would have stayed wide open like it always is. If we could have been a real threat with it they would have had to change their defense. Those safeties wouldn’t be playing high either.

It's on both of them. We don't have great RB's..We have a few decent ones but none are elite. Not sure why we can't get elite RB's. Heupel has shown he loves to run the ball.
