‘23 AL RB Jeremiah Cobb (Auburn commit)

With the transfer portal era, you can’t ever have the thought “oh we have 2-3 years with Thomas, Sampson, Wright, etc. We’ve had 5 running backs transfer out in the last 10 months (Orr, Evans, Beckwith, Hodge, Fils Aimee). Crazy

Fils-Aime was off the team ever since Heup was here, Orr was a walk on, Hodge really didn't have a spot here. Evans was really the only loss lol

We already got our RB for the class there was no need to bump this thread
This guy is a top 10 RB in this class easily and brings a completely different threat to the offense than Stallings who is more of a short yardage back and doesn’t really have to big play ability that Cobb has. I also think that with the inability to sign LBs that he could potentially play LB. Especially if we sign Cobb and a top tier back next year

Inability to sign LBs??? Dude what are you even talking about?

Jeremiah Cobb will be in town and that certainly feels like a pecking order of Auburn, Clemson and then Tennessee. We do believe that a strong weekend could put the Vols firmly in the mix to land Cobb. His family has an affection for Auburn but the uncertainty on the plains does give them pause. The one thing helping Auburn is Cadillac Williams, who would likely survive a coaching change.
