Damarcus 'Dee' Beckwith is going to get a visit next week from Tennessee and Alabama. Those are the first schools to show interest in the 2020 athlete. He's 6-5, 215 pounds out of Florence HS in AL. This year was his first year playing football since middle school. He's a high level bball player and plays AAU all off season. He played QB for his high school but is likely a tight end or linebacker on the next level. He looks like a legit athlete that will blow up this spring and summer. Tennessee appears to be on the scent.

We spoke with his dad today. Dee loves basketball and is hoping for a SEC or D1 offer to play for. On a side note, they really like Coach Pruitt a bunch and if he plays football then we'll have a good chance with him.

He's met with Saban and Alabama but they did not offer. He has a few offers since we offered but nothing compared to UT. If he had to sign today I think it would be with us. Our competition to lose him would be to basketball I feel.
