You don’t have to be put on scholarship to sign a LOI. I signed one as a DIII athlete.

Signing to play College Football At DIII Schools is big thing for kids. That is why one sees so many Local Athletes do the same. Gives them a time in the limelight. Being a PWO at UT and playing with his brother is a great thing for these two young men. Very happy that they are close and look out for each other. Rather have a Player that wants to play here, if he contributes on Special Teams that is just a bonus. Signing Financial Aid Papers can look like a LOI signing, just a way to honor the Athlete.
