Don’t hate! We are all in this SEC thing together. I believe UT made a mistake with Kiffin, but I maybe wrong? The man might be a genius. Time will surely tell the untold story. But, I love BAMA 24-7 and I am know you feel the same way about your school. I know what it feels like to sit through loosing seasons. True fans persevere. If it doesn’t work out, fire Kiffin - and buy the best coach and players that Tennessee can afford to buy. Don’t hate the player, hate the game because it is what it is. AND, we are coming!!!!!!

Loved the last answer about how the entire room gets quiet (including other coaches) when Monte speaks. That is the ultimate sign of respect and shows a desire by the players to learn from years of experience and knowledge. So much for the idea that Monte wouldn't relate to the "kids." They seem to be relating to him just fine.

Sounds like he's a great character kid. Kiffin's rules basically boil down to taking the players out of the 'hood. This is great stuff as Kiffin instead of kow towing to the players is forcing them to step out of their comfort zone and act and dress like they will have to down the road to be successful. Being too much the 'player's coach' only hurts the players in the end. And as we saw with Fulmer, they may have 'liked' him a lot, but they failed to show him, the program and the university due respect because he didn't demand it.

Nice. :thumbsup: It's a breath of fresh air to hear things coming from the locker room these days. I can't wait for it to translate to the field.

he stated "fulmer was a little more laid back, kiffin is pushing us to be the best."

I love the fact that kiffin is making it more intense.
