Do people play in fields like paintball? I wonder if that would be fun to do and how far will these guns shoot?

Airsoft is basically like paintball with training wheels. The plastic BB's don't fly very far and there no real way of telling if you hit someone.

We mess around with them but nothing "organized".

Most of the time when we are drinking we shoot people. Seems so funny at the time...:boxing2:

It's badass. That's all I use in COD4 unless I'm playing shipment, then it's the Mp5.

One thing I'll give Airsoft is the realism they put into their guns. The higher quality rifles look, feel, and weigh like the real thing.

the stock guns aren't much to write home about performance wise, but change out the motors/springs/etc. and they can shoot far and hard.

One of my friends had a pellet bury underneath his skin from a 50 yd sniper shot.
