If there is one thing Erik Ainge has, it's a very, very strong arm. Maybe it's the short routes or his "shoulder injury" and not throwing the ball all over the field like he did his freshman season, but you've got to be kidding me with that comment.

I heard that too and thought...he's throwing lasers today, what is this tool talking about. He was ripping the ball out there in the first half. They also said he was ranked 10th as far as senior quarterbacks this year.

after watching USCw eat up Juice Williams, a mobile QB, I'd rather take 2nd and 10 with a thrown away ball than 2nd and 18 with a sack.

I could be crazy tho.

I read some comments by the Wisc. secondary on the KNS site tonight. EA has their respect. And if I'm not mistaken, we took some shots downfield today. That was nice to see. Wish our receivers had some wheels and didn't drop the early passes...

isn't that from the article written by the obvious sec hater which is rediculous and makes UT out to be some piece of crap school who just sucked less today?

just for the record i wasn't saying he sucked, the second half play selection sucked, i'm no ainge hater, but maybe crompton/coleman can air it out more in the second half next year.

At least he got part of it right. The point is, if a SEC hater sees Ainge as a good player, then there must be something to it as it would seem more logical to bash than praise.

That idiot is bashing Fulmer....and praising Ainge. Ainge is a decent QB...who sometimes plays really well....and sometimes doesn't. His is just like mine...just an opinion from an observer....

If to bash Fulmer is to be an idiot, we are well stocked right here. Not necessarily my opinion, just thinking out loud.

ainge played well today for the most part. the reason we didn't win by more today is mainly because of the following:

a. the attempted trick play that resulted in a fumble

and

b. cut's decision to run the g-gun 3 straight times in the redzone when ainge had been in a rhythm the entire drive.

I was pretty impressed with Ainge today. He took a depleted receiving core and made them look better than they really are. Well, when they actually caught the ball...

If Meachem and Smith and Swain were all back.. Ainge could very well be a first round pick..
the announcers were talking how Cutliffe said Ainge was better than alot of Pro QB's.. and that he's going to have a good NFL career..
I'm actually on Cutliffe's side.. Ainge could be a starter for some NFL teams. but obviously not all of them.. so i see him being a solid contributor at the next level

ainge deff. helped himself this game, i can honestly say i was tottally against him after the sec championship, but i wish him the best of luck, and hope he goes to an NFL team that i dont hate too much :)

I love how you guys can call out Ainge.. even after he threw for 365 yards against a good defense with NO interceptions...Ridiculous

After seeing John Beck From BYU being drafted in the 2nd round, and STARTED several games for Dolphins, I have no doubt Ainge will be at least first-day pick. Cut must be right. I am hoping Ainge be drafted by some rebuilding team, where he will get a shot early in his NFL career.
