Ainge's stats, if extrapolated for a 12-game season:

324-of-489 for 3390 yards, 30 TDs, and 6 ints

If that holds, Ainge would hold UT single season records for attempts and completions. The yardage and TDs would be the 2nd most in a single season, behind Manning's 3819 yards and 36 TDs in 1997.

Put this offense with 05 defense and we would have 1 good team:cray:

One day, we will be an elite team again. I fear it will be later rather than sooner.

Ainge is a solid QB, with more skilled WR's and a D that could stop a popwarner team, wewould be OK

I don't think you can assume much in terms of extrapolation. In the first four games you faced two reasonably good defenses but in the next four games you will see four reasonably capable defenses and in the four after that you will see three decent defenses.

On the flip side, and assuming everyone stays healthy, presumably the passing game will get better over time. so you just don't know.
