IMO I'd take EA.Tebow has alot to prove to me that he is a true passer.Everyone in the country knows he can run and pass the short ones.Sooner or later he's going to start getting popped harder whenever he runs.I feel good about our chances at the swamp next year especially with the gators losing 24 seniors, 22 of which Ron Zook recruited.

Bama fan here would take EA in a heart beat! Tebow has yet to prove himself. He's going to have to learn to pass when he is the only QB next year. I seriously don't think hes going to be all that good to be honest with you.

He might be good. He might not. Going to take alot of hits. We'll see how he holds up next year.

At this point I would take EA as he is the proven commodity. Tebow is great at what he has done to this point, however he has not had to play the entire game where so many other things like game management come into play. It's just the unknow about Tebow is why I would go with EA.

Also he want be able to run like he has next year. He'll be beat up doing all the up the middle, grinding running. I will go out on a limb and say that Fla downfall next year will be at the QB position.

Great kid I suppose and has done awesome this year, but next year is a different ball game.

ya know it's funny. I just keep waiting for coaches to teach their players that at least someone has to stay on the receivers when tebow comes running out of the pocket. But i've seen it all year long. Tebow runs out, baits every DB and LB out there to come get him, then he stops just short of the line of scrimmage and throws to a wide open receiver. i really thought tressel wouldn't let that happen last night, but it happened. i'm still not convinced on this throwing accuracy or his passing mechanics, but it doesn't matter if he can constantly fool an entire defense like he does.

I put my money on EA. Tebow can run, but as above hasn't proven himself a passer. The few passes he has thrown have looked bad even if they were caught for touchdowns. That double pump shot put shot!!! come on the ugliest pass Ive ever seen. It did score though. I still dont believe it was a planned pass I think he just did it.

The jump pass was terrible, but he had a beauty of a laser later in the game for a TD.

i would take tebow. he can run and pass and with a young group of recievers its gonna help.

When, exactly, has Tebow proven he can pass when the defense is focusing on the pass?

Also, a young group of receivers is going to help? Funny, a young group of receivers at UT is going to hurt Ainge...

I would take Ainge. Tebow will probably have a decent season, but here's to hoping he has the sophomore slump:p . Example-Ainge's sophomore season.

tidwell have you had your morning coffee. that is the reason i said i would take tebow at UT over ainge right now. because he can run and with a young group of recievers i see that as a plus.

Any team with a good secondary and a solid front 4 is going to have a field day with Tebow next year. The Vols, on the other hand, are going to HAVE to improve our front 4 if we want to stand a chance.

I don't believe Tebow will be a very strong passer next year. I'll gladly eat my crow if he proves me wrong.

I'd take Ainge all the way

My bad, I read that as a young group of receivers would help Tebow as a QB (i.e., throwin' it).

I'm depressed and sensitive.

lol, this was a loaded question from the start: take a senior QB with over a year and a half of starting experience or take a sophomore QB with spot duty?

All that said, Tebow will end his career as the better QB. If they had equal experience, i'd take Tebow.

That's the real question here. Meyer will get everything out of Tebow while Fulmer will underachieve with EA.

I disagree. Look at what Cut's presence did for EA! As long as Cut is there, EA will continue to improve. Fulmer won't stick his hand in that cookie jar :)
