Ainge (encouraging news)

Woodson, and I probably wouldn't think twice.
I don't know that I'd go that far, but I can see where there might be a debate. Ainge has a bigger arm, but Woodson doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves.

Don't forget who their QB coach was too :)

Just heard on sports talk (Doug Mathews) stated since EA had his meniscus removed completely that the healing process was alot quicker and he probably could have played in the spring game some. Now his mobility will be slowed due to not repairing it is my understanding. He's no Michael Vick anyways.:)
Having the torn miniscus clipped out is definitely the way to go for the quickest recovery time. Erik might regret the decision, though, when he is 30.

Woodson had a superior year on a worse team, and has far more mobility.

If he's awful in 2007, then I was obviously wrong.

I agree. He and his parents were all in agreement according to Mathews.

I think I would pick Woodson and JP Wilson over Ainge.

Good grief. John Parker Wilson gets a lot of praise. I don't understand it, really. I think he's pretty good, but he has done anything that's been overly impressive thus far. What's his biggest win thus far? I can't really think of any. Also, these guys lost to MSU last year.

Yeah, I agree. Maybe you have an argument with Woodson, considering the surrounding talent, but Wilson doesn't come really close to Ainge, in ability or resume.

I would agree that Wilson does not come close to Ainge in resume. However, I will disagree with ability.

Martin and Shuler really stunk.

Ainge is my #2 SEC QB, so it's not like I'm dogging the guy.

The scrambling part was a joke. Calm down. Schaeffer was kicked out and Banks changed positions before getting kicked out. Tony Robinson had problems as well. Laugh a little bit.

IMO you're right about the QBs.

for real. its hard enough being the starting quarterback
I do not believe that any of us on here are arguing that he should not play. I am simply stating that, in my opinion, he is the third best QB in the SEC. Apparently, a lot of people on this board believe that is an insult.

I like Wilson, but Ainge does have the better resume. Wilson, though, will have a standout 2007.
