It is not hate. He just is not a very good basketball player, mostly because he disappears in big games and goes into a shell.Aidoo had foot surgery late in the off season, I think it significantly impacted his minutes early in the season. Not sure what happened in the middle of the SEC season but assume another injury, he didn't play much in Feb.
Not sure I get the hate for the guy. He was a solid contributor for us and was an All-SEC selection last year.
I believe Awaka is the better player even through he may not have the better skills. He too has lack of range and is barely 6-7. The difference is he plays hard and is willing to mix it up. He is aggressive, much more than Adioo.Tennessee could use another inside player for depth. Having said that, I think I would rather have Awaka. Better rebounder.
