Aidoo disappears scoring-wise in tourney after 22 pt game with a 7 and a 6 pt game. This year for Arkansas Aidoo kind of regressed. He averaged 18 min per game and 6.9/game scoring. Down from 24 min and 11.4/game.

Aidoo had foot surgery late in the off season, I think it significantly impacted his minutes early in the season. Not sure what happened in the middle of the SEC season but assume another injury, he didn't play much in Feb.

Not sure I get the hate for the guy. He was a solid contributor for us and was an All-SEC selection last year.

Tennessee could use another inside player for depth. Having said that, I think I would rather have Awaka. Better rebounder.

It is not hate. He just is not a very good basketball player, mostly because he disappears in big games and goes into a shell.

I believe Awaka is the better player even through he may not have the better skills. He too has lack of range and is barely 6-7. The difference is he plays hard and is willing to mix it up. He is aggressive, much more than Adioo.

In the first half of that Arkansas & Texas Tech game Aidoo came down with a rebound then immediately lost it. I said Jonas ain't changed a bit. Lol

The sentiment comes from him disappearing when he’s needed most. Not a gamer and it cost us dearly against Purdue last year.
