You know, usually this would worry me. But w/ warren apparently doing well at WR now, I think I'm ok w/ it.

It's all good, but what was up with this comment that he made?

“The SEC is a great conference with most of the best players, but once you’ve been there and done that, it doesn’t seem like as big a deal,” Paige said. “The things I want to accomplish, I can do right here at Louisiana Tech.”

1) When did he ever do anything that he could consider having 'been there and done that' and
2) What exactly DID he want to accomplish that he can get done at LaTech? Getting to see the field?

Whatever.

What else is he gonna say? "This new conference sucks?" He's going to a new school and wants to sound greatful for the opportunity. If he's good enough, he can get to the NFL from La Tech.

He got a scholarship to an SEC school to play football for 2 years. He had to deal with a very bad situation when he was here.

He can still get to the league from LA Tech.

This is a little off-topic, but does anyone have a link to the article about Ahmad Paige and the incident with his girlfriend. A friend of mine was telling me it was a really good read, but I can't find it anywhere.

I love when people who do not know anything about the subject at hand try to talk about.

Coleman's situation was a lot different than Paige's situation.

One took his ball to come home and be hailed UTC's savior.

The other went through a horrible personal tragedy and thought it was in his best interest to be closer to home after realizing UT might not be the best fit for him.
