How do you all feel about this game?

How does the fanbase feel about Kevin Sumlin? Chavis?

Does Josh Dobbs worry you?

I remember A&M fans on here before the bowl game years ago trying to explain the 12th man to us.

I live in Houston with many Aggie fans. You never know about our potential posters, but they pretty good folks - never excessive about their them nor overbearing like many of the SEC folks. Most are really grateful for the better than expected A&M club the former UT Def Coord - J Chavis.

Their hatred of Texas resembles a mental imbalance. They do not seem to allow that disorder to spill over into other fan bases. But they are a small college town a good ways from many bigger towns, so they tend to be a bit off.

I used to live in Houston. Tons of Aggies down there!

I remember going to a Vol alumni game being hosted by some bar. Can't remember the name. I do remember that the place was packed with Aggies and A&M was playing their 1st SEC game ever (Florida).

Vols and Aggies cheered together for Florida to lose. But we had Dooley...his last year.

Aggie fans are cool with me.
I look forward to this next week.

Big game in College Station.

The last TAMU fan I've run across was in a bar in the Phoenix airport a few days before we played them in the Cotton Bowl a few years ago. We traded insults and bought each other a drink. He was a good guy.

Got on a flight a few years ago and one of the attendants had a TAMU lanyard holding his ID. They had just left the Big 12 so I welcomed him to the SEC as a Vols fan. Ordered a beer and when nature took it's course, I went to the can. When I walked out, he handed me another beer and thanked me for the hospitality.

Do not make fun of Aggies. They have a tough life ... up early to milk the cattle, all day serving French fries, and then milking the cattle again.

I am torn because I have been a Vol fan since I was a kid, but I went to A&M. I dislike Sumlin due to his attitude towards everyone. He is kind of an ahole. Chavis is awesome, and in my opinion, the best DC we've ever had. I think his defensive numbers have shown how important he is to our success.

Dobbs? Depends on which guy shows up. Does he show up for two halves?

Their win over Arkansas stands out. A&M is not going to go conservative with a halftime lead. I think this is a team where Vols will have to play a complete game. Worst case is we split the tough part of the schedule 2-2 and wait to see if someone else beats UF. 10-2 is still a big step forward. I'm not conceding to A&M, I just think we can afford to lose this game and they cannot. May be that helps us stay loose.

As to the "loose" part, most people have us losing. Hopefully it is good bulletin material this week.

Yeah, most of their post (vast majority) say we have made it here in luck and have a terrible defense. They believe it will be a comfortable home win.

I disagree.. It is about 50/50 with some thinking we finally have a team, and the rest think Knight is meh. Our running game is the big surprise. If we are able to establish the run, I like our chances. If not, and Knight is forced to throw, it could get ugly. Our D has been really good in man coverage.

That the biggest thing that worries me about the run game and us missing Kirkland and JRM.

Also not sure they have faced receivers like JJ and Malone either.
