I think if I hear another TN player, coach, or media type imply that there isn't really anything wrong 'we just need to execute better' I'm going to blow a valve.
For some reason, CPF doesn't seem to get that he is indicting himself every time he says that. Execution is the essence of coaching. They use it as a shift-to-vague-players-fault reference.
Execution is the fruit of proper preparation. It is not some elusive commodity with no direct causal link. He is getting pretty good at saying it is his responsibility and it starts with him, but he doesn't seem to understand that it is his fault. There is a difference. Well coached teams execute well. Poorly coached teams don't. And this goes way back, years before this game.
