I think if I hear another TN player, coach, or media type imply that there isn't really anything wrong 'we just need to execute better' I'm going to blow a valve.

For some reason, CPF doesn't seem to get that he is indicting himself every time he says that. Execution is the essence of coaching. They use it as a shift-to-vague-players-fault reference.

Execution is the fruit of proper preparation. It is not some elusive commodity with no direct causal link. He is getting pretty good at saying it is his responsibility and it starts with him, but he doesn't seem to understand that it is his fault. There is a difference. Well coached teams execute well. Poorly coached teams don't. And this goes way back, years before this game.

If you bring the word fruit into this conversation, then the only thing I can think of right now is fruit fly.

I'm sorry but you win games by winning the war in the trenches and we're not especially on the offensive side.

The last two games the OL has been overwhelmed by speed and quickness. In the NI game our OL on the avg. outweighed their DL by 43lbs per man. Again in the GA game nothing inside or outside. No run game=No Wins

On the defensive side no pass rush and and stoping the run has been iffy. We don't have a Leonard Little DE or a Haynesworth in the middle. Don't stop the run=No Wins
