I can only hope we can look a good on O as they do. Did you notice how tall Pete's recievers are? We will have to find a QB with a strong arm to pull off passing in the seams like they are. I dont see our current QBs doing that well in the pro style. What do you think?

I believe that you have your answer as to why Boyd was told that he "did not fit".
That is exactly the type, I said type, of offense you will see next year on the hill.

Sure USC showed up against penn state but its penn state. They were not good enough to be in the rose bowl. Texas Tech should have went before they did.IMO

I wish. As long as the Cromptonator, Stephens, and Coleman are on the hill.. our offense won't execute nearly as well.

USC could beat ou or florida right now. I can't see how they lost to Oregon State.

The style will be somewhat the same. There won't be a drastic difference I don't think. The style that USC runs is similar to ours in the 90's. Seems like they use the passing game a little earlier than we did to open things up. Remember USC recruited Crompton, so that tells me they thought he would fit what they do. Now are they as talented as USC's QBs? Not right now, may not ever be, but they do fit the system.

The frame work will be laid and a superstar QB will sign for 2010. Coleman will be fine for next year.

seeing how the Rose Bowl has tie ins to the Pac 10 and Big 10 along with the fact that a conference can't have more than 2 teams in the BCS, I would disagree with your statement

Yes they are good but penn state is bad. Not on the crack pipe just think penn state should not have been there

USC always looks impressive, to me, in big games that they feel they are playing a team that can compete with them, or beat them in their house. Their huge downfall the past few years is trying to get up for the Stanfords, UCLA's and Oregon State's of the world. To think.....if they hadnt been on the receiving ends of 2 of the most surprising upsets in the last 10 years of D1 CFB( Stanford and UCLA).....they could very easily have won 5-6 of the last 7 national titles. They lose 7-10 starters to the NFL every year, and it seems like they always replace them with someone even better. I really hope we get to that level.....or even somewhat close. Luckily for USC, they dont have any other "big dog" programs to challenge them for Cali kids that they REALLY want.....we have an entire conference full of them.
