Todays final minutes of play were just totally awesome! I can't recall when I have ever seen so much hustle and heart, and will to win from any Tennessee team! I think the momentum shift happened whenever they teed up Pearl and it must have hacke the team off. We looked like a freaking football ball team out there popping the floor. Lofton may be the leader but we have a lot of players that know how to win.:rock:

I agree, nice win boys! Those guys will go to war for CBP. After he got T'd up, it looked like a different team. How bout JP? What a player!

today the Vols played the way I've been waiting for; hustle , tough , smart and fast I've been waiting for this team to show up and play like I think they are capable I'm really looking forward to Gonzaga (another good test)

Can't wait to see em play the Zags - hopefully there won't be any jet lag effects.

Xavier lost to the Zags by 3 earlier in the season... and the Zags didn't have Heytvelt then though.

that last 3 minutes made me smile. i love seeing a team play with heart and hustle. my only wish would be for them to keep that attitude for 40 minutes.

Great effort at the end. I agree when CBP got teed it seemed to inspire this team. To me thats a sign of a good coach. He has his players willing to go the extra mile for him. :rock:

Yeah you gotta love the effort the team put forth after the bs T. I would much rather c that fire though than some other coach who seems 2 do this alot :clapping:.

gonzaga has one good athlete on the perimeter and heytvelt. other than that, they are SLOW

Pargo put up good numbers last outing but he's not a good shooter. He can make things happen if you don't have a good man on him. Heytvelt may be back but I don't think he's found his form yet.

When's the last time we've played on the west coast? I don't know that we have under Pearl. I try not to underestimate the influence of a 3-hr time difference and 5-hr flight. That win would be as impressive as Xavier IMO.

He is what Ramar should be right now. They are very similar players but Pargo is playing better right now.

Tennessee really impressed me against Xavier as X is a damn good basketball team.

A SEC championship is very very likely IF they continue to play with the zest and zeal demonstrated the last 3 to 4 minutes of the game.

Look for both of these teams in the sweet 16 come March (health permitting).
