After all is said and done Lane Kiffin really ____

On 12 Jan 2010 LK and EO were dead to me.

Players interrupting Kiffin was only the second most interesting thing that happened at the team meeting. Defensive line coach Ed Orgeron was reaching out to Tennessee’s six early enrollees, most notably the five-star James, trying to recruit them to USC.
Dang, as bad as Dooley was and as bad as his teams were, it’s hard to imagine they could have been any worse then, imagine had those six early enrollees not stayed, especially Bray and James, just how terrible Dooley really would have been!

Boy I hope you are right but he’s a successful coach with a very talented roster. It would (will?) be a fine win if it happens.
He’s an overrated coach, we will beat LSU. He always chokes at the end of the year (except for last year) in 21 they lost to a Bryan Harsin led Auburn team which ended their already slim playoff hopes, 22 they started 7-0 and finished 8-4 with losses to Alabama, LSU, Arkansas, and Mississippi State, 23 they got couldn’t pull through against bama and got embarrassed by Georgia, and in 24 when the playoffs seemed like a lock, they lost to a Billy Napier led Florida team. Last year was the only year they didn’t completely collapse at the end but he wasn’t even the HC after the Egg Bowl. He’s a championship level mind, but not Coach

I am glad he isn't our coach. That being said, I always thought this was silly reasoning. He hasn't gotten any other schools in trouble. You do realize we did actually hire a guy who actually did get us into serious trouble, right? There are a lot of reasons I am glad Kiffin isn't our coach. This isn't one of them

You may want to re-examine his tenure at USC re:NCAA issues.

While it was nothing extremely major, Lane and co were playing hard and fast with the rules during his brief tenure at USC. He kind of embarrassed the school a bit with some of his antics and that contributed greatly to him getting tarmacced when he did (although his meh win/loss record did not help his argument)

Lane-to his credit-kept his mouth shut and his nose clean in Boca-at least by what I have seen.

You are most likely going to see a ton of dirt coming out about his tenure at Ole Miss

Like I said, he has never gotten his schools into trouble. Doing embarrassing things is one of the reasons I am glad he was never the coach. There are plenty of legitimate reasons not to have him. No reason to invent others

IMO, when he voted USC #1 and then said he didn’t, that was when his clock there started ticking.

He was brash and different, for sure. It seems Mike Hamilton said Kiff told him they were going to break some rules to garner attention but it would be nothing more than secondary violations.

It’s unfortunater that people like this can continue to fall up in life. Makes me truly wonder about the validity being a good person if being a prick can get you so much success.

He'd be coaching in the NFL if he had a modicum of maturity.
Lane comes off as the guy who is having the most fun while navigating this crazy landscape. I think it’s pretty cool when a guy can do that and be super successful. He actually reminds me a lot of Vitello. He doesn’t hide form engagement, he seeks it out. He’s accessible, candid and transparent.

Heupel, on the other hand, comes off as a guy who is constantly in a state of cringe. He looks like he just finished a 48 hour binge of Call of Duty in his mom’s basement. He’s evasive, and veiled. I don’t think he’s ever answered a media question with a molecule of sincerity or transparency. His shotgunning a beer at Luke Combs looked about as unnatural as you could get.

Bro, I dunno what you are remembering or not remembering-but he caused USC quite a bit of embarrassment with some of his garbage. I have no need to invent anything.

Offhand-I remember a little incident where he and his staff were using duplicate Jersey numbers in a sad and pathetic attempt to confuse the other team. People were laughing about how stupid and grade school it was.

Stuff like that plus some secondary violation issues when USC was already on serious probation from the Slick Pete era

Google is your friend.

Your line about "never gotten his schools into trouble" is also laughable. He racked up NCAA violations at a dizzying pace in his one year in Knox. If he had actually stayed, we would have been looking at some SERIOUS problems very soon. As things were, he had to give NCAA testimony about some of the stuff he did here years after he bolted.

I hope we throw a stadium full of loaded Brinks trucks at him after he wins the Natty this year.

Then I will send my son to his Human Enrichment camp.

We didn't receive any sanctions from it, did we?

How many schools have received sanctions as a result of him?

We did actually get some serious sanctions but they weren't from him

All facts. Laugh away

Meanwhile one won a national championship and was a Heisman runner up while the other sat on the bench at Fresno State. Makes sense you would gravitate to some loud mouthed ignorant goof.

Kiffin has you so brainwashed, it’s quite hilarious watching you cling onto his nuts while putting down Heupel whose not once caused any behavioral issues around the program.

Get help.

…..is highly likely to win a NC at LSU.
Nope. Everyone talks about him as an amazing coach and he demands the media coverage of Nick Saban, but, he’s a clown, and something lovely no one likes to talk about, he ain’t won ****
