Need some advice VN!

Taking leave and coming home next week. Going to be taking my wife to her first Big Orange game. All of the games that I have been to in the last 5 years have been with my dad so we didn’t partake in the pregame celebrations. Can you guys give me some suggestions of things that she “has to see”? This will probably be our last chance to see a game for several years since we are moving to Idaho.

We have the Vol Walk on the schedule but I want her to experience game day in Knoxvile.

Besides the Vol Walk and making sure to be ready for running through the T I would take a scenic route via the hill, check out the Vol Navy, etc.

Vol walk, which you already planned, band march is actually cool, the hill is nice, go see the letterman wall by the athletics department, it's near peytons pass.

Go to the half barrel on Cumberland and partake in the 32 oz big gulp draft beer.

you can watch the games on many big screens there.

Vol Walk is the big one, and then being in the stadium early enough to see them run through the T and everything, but that's obvious.

Where in Idaho? My fiancee lives in Northern Idaho.

Ah sounds good guys. Appreciate it. Does anyone know if that "band" still goes around from bar to bar singing rocky top before the game?

Incipient, I am moving south of Boise.

I've gone to Copper Cellar the last two weeks and those bandit folks have come in and played Rocky Top, if that's what you're talking about.

From peyton pass take a left in front of you will be the atlectic dorms Gibbs Hall, take a right on Johnny Majors BLVD and you will see the wall, you should be able to ask anybody and they show you, my brother in law best friend was a walk on and letter and he showed us.

My wife is from China and she's been in the US for just 1 year now...took her to the UTM game and saw the VolWalk, the band march, and the pregame festivities....she had never seen a football game in her life and was totally blown away and loved every minute of it.
She got to spend the whole day seeing everything, worst part for you will be the Noon kickoff....get it in fast and early!
