So, as of this week Greg Adkins and Latrell Scott are officially gone.

What about Stan Drayton and Jason Michael??

Do you think they will be retained?

Michael is going back to the NFL. Possibly KC.

Drayton may be staying. I don't know the benefit of keeping Drayton if we weren't gonna keep Scott. Very similar coaches, imo, but Scott seems to be the better of the two.

CLK and drayton are logging a lot of recruiting time together so that has to mean something.

Drayton is the Florida connection. That's probably the biggest reason we are gonna keep him and not the others.

HV, To me I would think Grann would be a upgrade compared to Drayton. Do you think we may already have someone lined up for WR coach? I hope it is gonzales. But that seems like a long shot. How do you think this could unfold?

Need to keep at least one to keep continuity and a source of information about the program and it's goals. Targeted recruits, current players, ect.

I don't know if Grann is hired. Even though I hope he will be. Seems it would have been out by now. He seems like one of the best recruiters in the SEC. Also a good "football coach". I am not sure Drayton is both of those. I don't think he done that good of a job coaching UF backs while he was there and I don't think this year looked to good either. I think recruiting is important for sure but it looks like a push between Grann and Drayton recruiting and it doesn't even seem close when you look at how productive the players they coached compare.

I realize that. I suppose Scott is gone right now because of UVA. He'd be much more valuable recruiting-wise right now because of his VA connections.

IMO Grann > Drayton Both pretty equal recruiting wise, coaching wise It's not even close.

Scott > Drayton Coaching wise pretty much a draw. Recruiting wise Scott wins easily looking at the incoming class thus far. Did a great job for us in VA. Sure hope Kiffin has someone that can do as well in the future. Also hope Scott leaving doesn't cost us Moses and White .

Updated list

Offense
OC - Lane calling plays/ ?
QB - Reaves
RB - Drayton for now/Gran
WR - ?
OL-Cregg
TE - ?

Defense
DC - Monte
DL - O (likely)
LB - ?
DB - ?

Seems like Gonzalez fits the puzzle well. OC (title) WR

I have no clue on D for LB and DB. Somebody brought Lofton up?

I think Adkins did some good things with recruiting but he was ineffective as an O line coach. Syracuse did not do their homework.

If we could...and I'm not sure we can...is pick up Gonzalez (OC title/WR), Ken Norton Jr.(LB), James Lofton(DB)...and of course O-range Swarm(DL)

Why would you make a hall of fame WR and current WR coach in the NFL move to DB coach?Lofton has no experience on the defensive side of the ball. He would be WR coach if he came.

Darren Perry is the name to watch for the DB coaching job.
