He makes salient points . . . until he starts dredging up guys like Little, Goodrich, Haynesworth and their post college criminal records. That's pure piling on.

The thing is, I don't think Fulmer is quite as soft on his team as Adams makes him out to be. Maybe Colquitt isn't officially off the team, but suspending him for half the season and yanking his scholly while maybe not as far as he should have gone, isn't exactly a slap on the wrist.

Don't get me wrong. I think the way he dealt with Britton is incredibly ridiculous.

I just think John Adams is a moron.

Fulmer is a bafoon,it was the kids 4th offense,he should have been kicked off the team.Phil is more worried about Britton's daddy's money then doing the right thing.

I completely and utterly dislike this guy. He is a complete idiot. I wish he would leave TENN. He acts like your prototypical 5th grader who has to down others to make himself feel better

Who said I graduated from the Hawaii education system? Volunteer High School in Church Hill, TN is my alma mater. No college, straight into the U.S. Navy.

Adams isn't really a moron; his columns are about exactly the quality you'd expect from somebody who's made a career at a third-tier paper like the News-Sentinel. I.e., mediocre.

In this case, however, he's got it absolutely right.

He got it right until he start, like the hack writer he is, brought up incidents by former players after their time at Tennessee.

He's a hack.
