Some of you guys are acting like a we have already won the game. Acting as if Florida hasn’t mopped the floor with us the last 20 years. Acting like we are so much better than them because they’ve struggled a couple of games. Do not forget history and put some respect on the game. Some of y’all are making us look foolish.

From a strictly football perspective, what does it matter what’s happened the last 20 years. It definitely matters to us fans, but their coach isn’t the same, nor is ours. Their players aren’t the same, nor are ours. The results of the last 3 games puts Florida on the same feel, talent wise, as a Missouri or MSU. Would you be terrified of playing them?

Meh, I think it’s a mixed bag you’re just seeing what you want to. Most Florida fans think Tennessee wins this game. I think we have a better team based on what I’ve seen on the field thus far but I’m not betting any money on Tennessee vs Florida.

Not sure how that matters too much with the fanbase... but it matters A LOT with the team. Heupel has talked about it many times. You have to get from a point of hoping to win to a point of expecting to win. Years ago I played for a guy named Boyce Dietz who completely changed the expectations of our HS team... and the results. I'm not sure how long it had been since we'd won the conference before he arrived but it was measured in decades... like leather helmet/no face mask days. His first year we won the conference. His second year we won the state. He ended up winning 8 state championships in 19 years IIRC.

That's the difference in a team that hopes to win and one that expects to win. Same talent level. No innovative schemes. Just hard work and a change in expected outcomes.

So? It’s what fans do. We talk big, make fun of the other team, get overly excited about our current ranking, and think about how are going to act when we win them all.
What don’t we do? Play, coach, influence the preparation for not the outcome of the game. In any way. Fans gonna fan. I love being on of ‘em.

Tennessee is not heads and shoulders better than this Florida team. I think Hooker will have to play his best game so far imo. UF brings their A game to this contest most years, i don't expect anything less this time.

No, some of us are taking the position that we’re not going to lose to an inferior team just because we have in the past. Some of y’all aren’t happy unless the rest of us give up before kickoff because y’all do.

If it's their A game against our A game, we win comfortably and our backups are in in the 4th quarter.

Hope so.. I'm not so sure about that. I don't think Pittsburgh is all that good, but they got us to overtime. You're probably right though. If the Vols offense is clicking the Gators won't keep up, there is a IF there. One thing is certain, nothing is for certain in college football...

Who cares if some want to have some fun? We haven’t had this much hope since 2016.
