I am not here to gloat...trust me, we havent even been competitive against the likes of Utah, BYU, TCU, New Mexico and Air Force.

I feel bad for you guys, losing at home to a team who on paper you should easily handle is tough. But it seems that everyone is so negative about Wyoming and the Mountain West Conference in general. The Mountain West Conference has been very underrated for years (watch TCU and you will see SEC speed and talent).

Finally, give some credit to the way Wyoming competed. Even though some people have said things like "our players quit or dont care," they have never quit. Our defense played their hearts out today just like they have all year. We actually have a pretty decent defense. We start a 4th string, overweight RFr QB that seems to give everything he has got. None of us would have expected him to make some of the audibles he made today, especially the big 3rd down conversion late in the game (where they had to review if he was over the line). True none of our players (except Devin Moore and Wynel Seldon) probably have the talent to play football at UT, but its not like they arent division 1 college football players.

I hope UT get a couple wins to finish the season and I wish Fullmer good luck in wherever he lands. Rumor has it that he spends quite a bit of time in Jackson Wyoming. There will be a tomorrow for Tennessee. You guys have a great tradition and will definitely be able to recruit and turn it around!

No. Just No.

Thanks. Classy.

No offense, but we still lost to a freaking MAC Wyoming team in Neyland. Our blue shirts should be able to beat your starters.

Congrats anyways. I'm sure the boys from Wyoming will look back and always remember that fall day when they beat the Tennessee Volunteers in Neyland Stadium.

Not a MAC team! MWC=Mountain West Conference and the MWC is far better than the MAC. In fact, many experts have rated the MWC ahead of the Pac-10 and Big East and some have even rated them ahead of the ACC.

Dude, our coach has been forced to resign due to running the once proud program into the ground. Wyoming sucks. Don't try to come in here and get some degree of satisfaction for winning this game. You guys didn't plow any new ground, trust me.

Maybe they are better than people think this year, but Wyoming has nothing to do with that. You are bottom dwellers in a conference that might have 1 team that could be at best 5-3 in the SEC.

It's the most pathetic thing in the history of TN football. You guys certainly did come in and compete, and I think you should be commended for that. But that really shouldn't have mattered at all.

MAC, MWC....it's been a long day.

For real. TCU has a monoply on the Dallas-Fort Worth area and gets many incredible athletes (you might have heard of a Tomlinson guy for the Chargers). BYU and Utah also get some decent athletes but nowhere near the level of TCU. If you actually watched the size and speed that TCU's defense has, you would be impressed.

When your 4th string NT played he went straight through our OL. There is no reason for a MWC 4th string NT to drive straight through the interior OL of an SEC team.

Also, your O scored 1 time and that was with 4 chances started on the 4. Your other score was from your D.

Props for winning, but it isn't the best team we've ever had.

Trust me, we know our offense sucks. Actually our offense has been worse than yours. For real, look at the season stats. Our QB was 4th string until last week and he is the only one that has been able to keep from turning the ball over 4-5 times a game. We do have a RB who will be drafted though.

LT yea. But you would be shocked at how "TCU/MWC speed" in the SEC would look like a poodle trying to outrun a greyhound.

Please. We lost to Wy-freakin-Oming. There is no need to get brownie points with us. There is no sugar-coating this situation, the Tennessee Volunteers lost to Wyoming. PATHETIC!

We are aware of that. This is what makes the situtation even worse. We lost to a BAD Wyoming team, not a BCS-spoiler Wyoming team, but a BAD one.

BTW, I hope some of you guys got a chance to meet the Wyoming faithful. We are a nice folk. While unfortunately I couldn't attend the game in Knoxville, I think they showed how much we support our team and respect others. (as bad as we have been to still travel that many way out there, considering our state has less than 500,000 people says a lot i think)

Good win today.

Nevermind some of the posters. It has been pretty rough around here lately. You are a class fan and I wish you and your team much success.

I heard that the Wyoming fans were a quality bunch as well from many at the game. Congrats on the victory! Sorry for the hostility. But I wouldn't keep pressing the MWC teams being competitive in the SEC issue.

Only 500,000 people?? Wow. We used to get a
5th of that every Saturday in Knoxville.

BTW, stick around. We don't have many Wyoming fans giving us their perspective on things in these parts.

Wyoming fans were great. No 9 yr. old kids cussing at me like the Bama game! One fan took a Wyoming pin off his hat and gave it to my daughter as a kind gesture. I hate it when our Vols lose, but after fighting overseas it kind of puts sports in perspective. Our Vols will get back on top and when they do I will still be here bleeding orange and white. Good luck to you die-hard Wyoming fans that made that long trip to Tennessee.

Thanks guys, appreciate it. Overall all I can say is that its not the end of the world for you guys. It is easy to see that Tennessee will quickly become an elite college football team again.

At Wyoming, if we could get our wish it would be to beat CSU and BYU and have the opportunity to compete with the big boys in a bowl game (which half the state will load up the truck and go to).

Have always loved the Cowboy program. Wish the best for you guys.

Well it's happened to Utah, Boise St., and Hawaii. Tell your boys to dream big!

Don't be afraid to post here again, come on back! It's getting late here in Tennessee, so I'm going to bed.

Once again Congrats.
