If you had to choose one to beat, which would it be?

And I think that if you asked most of us during the off season we would be thrilled with a 3-1 start.

Don't get me wrong, I think we will have a chance in both games, but if you had to choose one who would it be?

For me it's Florida. They are the media's love child and I would love to knock them off that pedestal. Plus, its a huge SEC win.

Discuss.

Florida 100%. I can't imagine how anyone could choose otherwise. They are a conference rival. It would be humongous!

Definately FL. Oregon would be a HUGE win for us, but FL would be more important.

Florida easily, not only because I hate them but also because Urbie hasn't tasted defeat against us yet.

Florida and it's not even close......took all of .0000001 seconds to come to that decision

A victory over Florida *if UT could possibly win out. If not spanking Oregon would be a great consolation prize.

Either would go a long way to uniting our fans and dismissing a lot of doubts about Dooley but UF would be the bigger win by a large margin. If we beat Oregon some will chalk it up to them being an overrated Pac 10 team.

Flordia but if we win both then you will see me run into the middle of field and start praising God and all of his angels above.

No brainer: Florida

1. SEC Rival
2. Affects SEC standings
3. Would even the series.

I feel good about both games for different reasons.

I think against the Ducks, UT will stack the box and Wilcox will have them figured out.

Against UF I think they are young and think they are better than they are. UT will force them to win the game through the air and UT will pound the rock.

I am really excited about the next two weeks. They could be epic.

Regardless, if UT is able to get one of them we will be ahead of all projections and possibly ranked in the top 25. Also, we will be that much closer to where we want to go.

It has to be florida. The Oregon game means nothing on paper (in our current state), SEC wins mean EVERYTHING.

Oregon, only because they're next on the schedule. I know what you're getting at and apologize for not playing along, but let's beat Oregon first......then why not just go ahead and beat Florida the week after!!! lol

Seriously though, definitely Florida. They're ranked higher, not only are they SEC but they're SEC East....oh, and they suck.

To me beating Florida means nothing if UT can't keep winning... beating Oregon, however has meaning either way.

If we were to beat FL, and we beat UGA and USCe, that would put us in the drivers seat for the SEC east.

We beat Florida and I will be on the field celebrating with the team after. No one would be able to stop me.

After that miserable performance last week I don't think overconfidence is a possibility for us.

Dumb question..........UF in a heartbeat!

UT could go 2-10 this year....as long as the next win is UF...I'm happy!

I vote for Florida. Easy decision on that one.

Obviously, both of these teams are tough opponents. I think we need to win one of these to gain some confidence for the rest of the season. We're going to see the character of our team during these two contests, and it will likely go a long way in setting the tone for the rest of the season. It will be a test for the fanbase, too, if we drop both . . . the critics will be going crazy. We really need to win one and to play very well in both to keep the hysteria down.
