A win is a win

It’s close to home for me because I used be the kind of fan who was overly critical. I just reached the point where I could either try to enjoy watching the team play or constantly criticize the players and coaches every week and eventually stop following the team. The former is the way IMO.

For sure. The criticism by the constantly negative fans of anyone not sharing their always miserable outlook as "sunshine pumpers" completely misses the point that you can be critical of a performance without resorting to 'end of the world' type reactions to any loss or even to close wins like yesterday and starting asinine threads trashing the team and coach to show how "realistic" your viewpoint is.

Some of these overly critical folks would be doing it no matter who they cheered for. Every team has them, they always look strictly at the negative. Them types never should invest a lot of times in sports because games are never going to go perfect. GBO

Exactly. they had every reason to sh*t the bed today but they kept scrapping and got over the hump. Heup proved some doubter wrong today
Yes. The last few seasons Tennessee has not been able to win road games like this when things start going the wrong way. They have finally shown that they can keep playing and stay in the game. The offense and defense both finally came through when it mattered most.

If we came up short last night, our season's hopes and dreams would have been seriously dashed. Ugly as it might have been, this team came together as a team and put the W in the books. Happy for the players and coaches but, lots to work on for our next SEC game vs the Hogs at home. No game will be easy this year. Makes for good TV!!
