I'm for offering S. Fla. coach a dufflebag full of money. What other coaches should we look at?

He'd be a great guy, but I doubt he would take it.
Too many good coaches in the SEC, he'll win more games where he's at. With the current BCS, teams in weak conferences have an easy shot at going undefeated and playing for an NC.

Good point about animosity with Saban. Speaking of Saban, if they hadn't gotten home cooking against Arkansas, they would be 2-3.

i'm not doubting any of you, but I do want to know what makes him willing to accept a job at UT, but refused other programs before?

I don't think he will.

1. He is about to really get paid by USF
2. He is in a recruiting hot bed.
3. He has gotten a ton of media which will help with #2
4. He has the chance to become a legend and turn USF into a FSU type situation if all the cards fall right. I just don't see him bailing.

one of those rare occasions where beef and I see eye to eye. But if someone can give me evidence that Leavitt would come, I'd be more than happy to drive to St. Pete and pick him up.
