Our Volleyballers got things rolling with a sweep of Auburn...the first sweep at Auburn since the year 2000. In turn, the Soccer team turned in a clean sheet against Kentucky, 2-nil. Satisfying. 
SEC wins have been hard to come by for both teams and hopefully, both teams can put the past behind them and stay on the winning track.
The Soccer team currently stands 11th in the SEC (I know it's weird to see us standing so low) but we can move up, hosting Georgia (currently 9th) on Thursday and traveling to Mizzou (currently 13th) next Sunday. We need to move up as we don't want to be one of the four teams not to make it to Orange Beach.
Volleyball is a bit better off, standing in a five-way tie for 10th (groan) at 2 & 2 in league play with our next three matches all at home against LSU (also 10th), MSU (11th), and KY (1st). So we can move up a bit if we can get past LSU and Mizzou. Kentucky may just be too good for us this year but never say never.
Still, we should enjoy the day and hope we can continue with our newly discovered winning ways in the SEC!
