Most people usually care about more than 1 team...just a general landscape of college football, you know?

My 2 cents. I don't think Boise or TCU can beat Florida, Arkansas or Oregon on a neutral field. JMO. Also think Nebraska would beat TCU. Boise 6th and TCU 8th. After that there is about 10-12 teams that u could lump in together....

Florida has serious issues. I think Boise would beat anyone in the country on a neutral field outside of 'Bama and possibly OSU. Dunno about a Nebraska/TCU matchup, I may have to give the advantage to the Horned Frogs there.

Anybody else think it's stupid and asinine that the coaches have Stanford at 13? Geez.

Not really kept up. Too lazy to research. Have they beaten a team with 2 wins yet????

Just took a look at who they have beaten.. They have played no team worth a Shat. UCLA being an exception, but their schedule has been pathetic.... Played no ranked opponent at game kickoff....

While everyone acknowledges Alabama's talent and general superiority, this constant dismissive attitude towards UF is rather transparently just a wish-it-were-not-so. UF is 4-0 and has looked better and better each weekend. We all know they have top three talent. You just want to key in on their understandable growing pains in the first couple of games.

I am not saying UF will necessarily finish really high, or top 5, or anything of the sort. But when they trounce a previously undefeated team and finally open up on offense like everyone has clamored for, you can't just ignore that.

As I say, however, I understand where its really coming from. You do not want them to be good, therefore they aren't.

Ridiculous. The vast majority here hate AL and have no problem calling them the best team.

Maye it would help you to recognize that our lack of fawning is a better indicator than your own gut feeling and history. Glossing over the growing pains piece was funny.

Perhaps folks are simply being honest when they say Florida isn't that great this year.

Blowing out Kentucky at home is not even remotely impressive. Florida let a pretty bad Tennessee team hang with them for the majority of the game, and the Miami (OH) and South Florida debacles were just bad.

Florida is undoubtedly a talented team, but there are a few weaknesses in the team. Saturday will obviously be a huge measuring stick for the Gators.

I think it's ridiculous for Stanford to be 13th in the Coaches, I think the AP has it right with #9 but you've definitely got Stanford too high. We'll prove it Saturday. Come on man. Have some faith. Tough game but the Ducks will prevail.

I am absolutely 50/50 on Saturday's game. I literally have no guess at who wins. Stanford can exploit some of our weaknesses, and Stanford has weaknesses that can be exploited. I ranked them higher solely based on what I perceive to be a stronger resume.
