First off, congrats to those of you that have tickets. I think you are in for a very pleasurable experience.
But for those of us that can’t be there, I have a simple request.
BE OUR VOICES TOO !

That means that for 3+hours at Neyland that you actually play this game too.
Use your voice, rattle your keys, stomp your feet on the bleachers (since you’ll stand for the whole game and, hopefully, those that are able next to you will too).

When Florida is on offense, Neyland should be soooo loud that the Gators will have to squander timeouts and will be forced into several illegal procedures and delay of games penalties.
And, even if we get a big lead, do not leave early or let up.

We want to crush their souls and show the entire football universe that,
YES I’ll say it damnit, TENNESSEE IS BACK!
We want any 4 star or maybe a 5 star 🌟 or two recruit out there that may be watching to say, “hey I think I need to give Tennessee another look”.
We want all of the post game analysis to be about our Amazing turnaround only 4 games into Heupels second season. And we want them to say how incredibly fun it must be to play in front of the most passionate fan base in America!

So, do your part. Be loud and proud and properly checkered in your section.
And for those of you who attend Sunday morning services, your Minister will forgive you if you have no voice left to sing on Sunday.
Go Vols! Crush the Gators 🐊!!

Make it sound like 2004 with 109,061 fans in Neyland.
Come Early
Be Loud
Stay Late

Go Vols!
I’m so curious HOW that many people fit in there. Where were they?? I’d understand 105,000, but an extra 4,000 is wild. Could anyone explain how it’s possible

I don't know for certain, but everytime I needed to use the bathroom the concourse was packed more than any other game. I assume standing room tix were sold, but that's just a guess. I was hammered.

Hey blue hairs! You're invited too, come on now. Clap your hands, stomp your feet, tootsie pops can't be beat!

What? That's not how it goes for you blues? OK, show us what you got, every piece of noise counts.

there were so many reporters and VFL's there on the sideline and people were standing in the isles. It was crazy.

Milton's first TD pass was the best thrown TD that I have EVER seen! Seems everybody is pretty quite about that! We have never had a QB that could have thrown that ball! I wouldn't mind seeing him and Hooker on the field at the same time!

65 yards on a rope and hit the receiver in the hands in full stride

They used to count everyone in the stadium: medical personnel, concession stand workers, etc. I assume they still do.

Also,

Make sure your wives wear the correct shade of orange. Just not something sort-of-orange that she saw at boutique that was soooo cute.

Call her on it.
Take a stand.
If she refused to go as a result, take someone who will yell their guts out (while wearing Pantone 151-C)

your post is perfectly timed.

my wife recently ordered online (5) different, new blouses this week but wasn't sure if they were going to have the correct pantone 151 shade, or at least something close.

all but (1) was returned due to Clemsux, Tejas, or some other horrific shade of orange that had arrived.

the struggle is real.

If you guys still want to go to the game, please don't tell your wife what to wear. There is nothing good that will come out of that.

Just be happy she wants to go and buy her a shaker, some popcorn, and a giant seltzer drink or two and scream loud enough for the both of you.

If you want bonus points, tell her how good she looks in her orange dress and how you can't wait to go with her cause her beauty makes you look better.

Agree. If we’re ahead or behind, give them no opportunity to think whatsoever. Hopefully the team and fans make them hear Rocky Top in their nightmares.
