I don't really post much here so pardon me if this has already been posted but...hypothetically speaking if UT wins 9 in a row to finish 10-2 and (assuming LSU/FL go to BCS bowls) gets to the Capital 1 bowl against Penn St./Wisc/OSU/Mich do you still consider the season a disaster and Fulmer has to go?

Getting pounded by two teams like we have is awful but...

Just wondering :)

NOTE: I'm not suggesting this will happen or wanting to know how it can't happen, its just a hypothetical!

Hypothetically, you can read the board before you start a new thread.

The season wouldn't be a DISASTER, but the questions raised about if Fulmer was still able to coach a team to be a player in the national title race would still be valid.

And are we talking a bowl win or loss here? If we lost the bowl, people would still be ticked.

I would have to say that I'd still like some new blood. 10-2 is fine, but if one of those two is always Florida, it's not good enough.

Back to the OP, I'd take 10-2, It gives us a shot at the east and sec and possibly puts us in a bcs bowl.

A thoughtful and good answer. I cannot imagine what I could see this year that would make me think we could compete with Florida next year.

The question is to be or not to be. I be not happy with losing. I be happy with winning.
