The constant questioning his intelligence is ridiculous. He's a football player and that's all

Intelligence is definitely overrated at the QB spot. Terry Bradshaw is a blithering idiot and in the HOF. Ryan Leaf and Heath Shuler are two more standout college QBs that I wouldn't trust to tie my shoes.I have no idea what that statement means. So football players don't have varying degrees of intelligence? Intelligence is irrelevant to the QB position? I realize that your quarterback doesn't have to be pondering a career in law to be a good QB (though it worked out well for Steve Young), but a requisite amount of it might help them learn the playbook. So I don't think such a question is out of line.
Finally, what in the hell does pondering a legal career have to do with intelligence?
