A new Vol is born

My first child, a boy, was born at 8:56 pm, last night, May 1. He's a small one, 6.3 lbs, 19 inches long. Labor started at 6:15 a.m., so it was a long day. The doctor had to use those clamps to pull his head out. But, he's doing o.k., he's healthy, and he's hungry. I changed the first diaper at 3:30 this morning. I'll send pics near the beginning of football season. I'm off to bed now. Wish us luck.

Congrats Jason. This is a very exciting time. Get some rest, you are definitely going to need it. BTW Volmanjr tried to warn me about this, so I will pass it along. Those diapers will start to stink in about 4-6 months, so enjoy the experience now.

Congrats Jason. Mine is 9 now. Time flies so enjoy these early days while, as Lex puts it, his stuff don't stink.

Congrats again!!

God Bless you and your new family.Rather have a child on the small side than too big anyways.Glad you changed the diaper.Just wait till they start eating solid foods.Then change it!:)
