You guys have home field advantage every freaking year and you CHOKE.

You have one ring and you STOLE IT on a BS pass interference call on ELLIS HOBBS.

Oh is that right, just like a Jaguar fan to ride the patriots coat tails. We have only had the number 1 seed one time and lost to the Steelers because of distractions. Last time I checked one ring is better than no rings, to bad they don't give out rings for finishing 3rd in the division several years in a row. I mean Peyton has owned the Jags, I think his record is 10-4 against your team. Tell me if you could switch the records and accomplishments of the 2 teams you wouldn't do it, yea I thought so.

Anyone know where chewwy (Jewbaccah) is? He'll know whether UT should hire JDR or not!

Making my day, I am like your new mentor just pm me and I will let you know what to say on here.

Del Rio is a good hire but of course there are question marks. He is not as sexy as a Gruden or Cowher hire but who is? I would want to know about his personality and who he would bring with him before making any final call. However, if he is surviving in the NFL all signs point to this would be a good hire.

i know nothing about the guy. didnt he used to play for the Vikes?

He was a hard nosed player. No nonsense and intense on every play. Probably why he sacked his starting MLB and team captain for going through the motions. Oart of the Cowboys hey day with Landry back then, if I remember correctly.

Serious about responsibility, doesn't take any BS! I like that in a coach.

Couldn't say that this hire would overly upset me but. I guess I am looking for a little more...wish "Chief" could stay and run the Defense and wel Del Rio coming on zero chance of that happening, IMO. It's a nice name to kick around

Unless it's Gruden or Cowher, I would stay away from NFL coaches. There are too many examples of failure....Groh, Wanstadt, to name a couple.

Just checked his contract: 10M/3yrs ending this year. It is unlikely he will get an extension, right?

Conclusion: He will probably available at end of December, and he is relatively inexpensive.

Unless he takes alot less than his current contract, no he wouldn't be inexpensive. 3.33mil a year is hardly cheap. Now if we are talking 1.5-2mil maybe the jury would be out on that one. I'm not a Del rio fan.
