It would be good. Would force someone to get rid of our Good Ole' Boy System now instead of having to wait until the season is over. The sooner we dispose of them the sooner the healing can begin.

:dunno: What Iporange said..I chuckled when I read the reply but then I realized how numb I have become as a Tennessee fan and it made me think...If we DID lose to NIU I don't think I would be surprised at all.It is sad that this program has sunk to this level and I can't think of what else to say about it other than I hope Stephens can spark something in our offense and hope Chavis can set the bottle down long enough to realize that running our defense toward our goal line doesn't work...

I live in Illinois and have seen the SIU campus first hand. There is no way you guys will lose the game even if the game lasted 5 minutes and they got the ball first.

Thats all good and well, but, how does you seeing SIU's campus make you so sure we will beat NIU?

Northern Illinois would celebrate. Is this a trick question?

It's not a trick question..Not even sure what that means..Its a viable concern for
UT fans. We as Vol fans are concerned about our team and this game and we do not take you litely...

Sure you know SIU the salukis (spelling) Missouri Valley conference in college bball. They are a very small school in football brandon jacobs went there... but back to on topic I think this message board will explode if we lose:no:

I think its legit concern. Especially with the fact that we seem intent on scrimmaging for the QB position during the game.

I'll put it like this - I think NIU can beat UCLA.

What would happen?

Real estate agents all throughout the Knoxville are crossing their fingers in hopes that NIU can pull off the upset, as it would result in Pete Carroll, John Gruden, Bill Cowher, Jimmy Johnson, Steve Spurrier, Mr. T, Bill Parcells, Lane Kiffin, Craig T. Nelson, Denzel Washington's character from "Remember the Titans", Bob Stoops, Nick Saban, and Will Muschamp all shopping for homes here next week.
