Because at this point, may as well have fun with it. How many players have beaten us playing for two different teams?

Off the top of my head:

-Felipe Franks beat us with Florida, then beat us again with Arkansas

-Trevor Knight beat us with Oklahoma, then again with Texas A&M

-Will Grier beat us with Florida, then again with West Virginia

-His name escapes me, but that RB from BYU last year beat us at South Carolina, then beat us again with BYU

Who are some others? This is a blast, isn’t it everyone?

Proves my theory that superior talent wins most of the time over inferior talent.
Coaches never take a snap or make a tackle.
If you don't have the best horses in your stable, you ain't winning many races.
Does not matter who the jockey is.
With our lower tier SEC talent, we will win some and lose some against the other bottom level conference teams but will be blown out most of the time against the top teams.
That is where the program is and where it will remain until we buy better horses.

Hugh Freeze is not a coaching savant. He could not ride the mules in our barn to a major victory.
He beat Saban twice with players on equal talent level with Alabama that the Ole Miss boosters bought for him to take to the races.

How many would put money on Freeze's undefeated powerhouse Liberty team to have a better record than our Vols against the schedule we have played? I suspect they would not have a win.

Not to worry. The house that Neyland built is under re-construction.
Phil Fulmer is working like heck to fix what ails the UT Football program:

Sure thing. Once we're done with that fun exercise, I think we need to give this a go for some real laughs.

Could Jeremy be a Saban saboteur?

How could Pruitt saboteur when were doing the same thing we've been doing for the last 15 yrs.
Saboteurs take down a successful regime.
Jones went 0-8 in conference play, you can't get lower than that.
This is not the place you come to if you have never head coached at this level before.
Better yet , you don't hire unproven coaches who haven't won anything .

Agree that talent wins in the end but there were a lot of fallacies to get to that point.

1. Hugh Freeze does not have ACC level talent at Liberty but is 2-0 against ACC teams this year.

2. Freeze and Ole Miss had nothing resembling Bama's talent. Even Ole Miss's greatest recruiting class (they only had 1) was ranked behind Bamas

3. We dont have lower tier talent. There's not much of a gap (if any) between our talent, UF, A&M, Auburn. The big difference is development and coaching where we are FAR behind those guys.

4. How many years in a row have our recruiting classes beat Arky and UK? Both teams beat us down.

I believe there is a DB from Vanderbilt’s 2018 team that now plays for Auburn. I know we haven’t lost to Auburn yet this year but just saying...

True!!
The it’s all about the jimmies and joe’s narrative and we don’t have them is BS.

It takes talent to win championships for sure but coaching is equally as important.

There’s been teams in most conferences that were always competitive and occasionally beat the “big boys” even though the recruiting was always ranked well below.
Kansas St. and Mich St. are a couple.
Always respected and competitive and usually less talented.
We don’t have championship talent but we do have competitive talent with good coaching.

A quick comparison with us and UF shows how important coaching is:

In the last 30 years, the talent (except from 2008 - 2011) has been similar between the two teams. In this timeframe, UF had the better coach except from 2002-2004. The only time in the past 30 years where we have won consecutive games against them was 2003-2004. That's not a coincidence. Since 1991, we have only won 5 games against them.
