Earlier in the afternoon Cutler, Vanderbilt's quarterback, finally vented his feelings toward the officials in the Southeastern Conference telling the media: ''SEC officials overlook us all the time. They give calls to higher-ranked teams — the Tennessees of the world. I can say it now since the season is over.''

  What a joke. Does Cutler not realize that Vanderbilt is the least penalized team in the SEC? Does he not also realize that more penalties are called against Vanderbilt opponents than any other SEC team? He needs to be a man and take responsibility as a team leader for Vanderbilt's season that was far below expectations.

LOL...what a sore loser.

You'd figure a Vandy guy would know to think before he speaks.

I have news for him, there is only one Tennessee! Maybe he wants to talk about all of the holds that Vandy's OL put on our defense that didn't get called. Or perhaps a bad PI call against us in the end zone!! I thought that Vandy players were a little brighter than this! :dlol:

Yeah, I watched the replay of the game last night on CSS, and that PI penalty was HORRIBLE.

It sure was, it is hard enough playing with freshman CB's, but to make that kind of call makes it even tougher! :shakehead:

Not too bright... Don't they call Vandy the Harvard of the South?

Guess Cutler is still suffering from Gaither's hit...

typical from a Vandy Student or player. It's their mentality, someone else is the problem or causes their problems.

I thought that was Bama.

LOL!

They were a decent 3 quarter team, but they were outscored about 82-20 in the 4th quarter this year. Cutler threw some nice passes against UT, he'd probably be an above average QB if he played for a better program.

I can't really blame Cutler for being frustrated. He's a pretty good QB, but has had to endure nothing but a bunch of 2 win seasons. That's enough to make anyone say stupid things.
