A Few Names That Could Replace Offensive Line

it's a fair point, sure. i think it means more, i think, then to point out that in that group of familiarity there's not been a lot of guys in that group that do have a ton of experience at the P5 level, at least not at bigger, top tier programs at that level. specifically, at least on the offensive side of the ball. defensively, i think it's pretty clear he's gone out and upgraded with some pretty proven guys with very solid track records.

offensively, it still looks kind a like a staff you'd see at, say, South Florida.....:p and that doesn't mean it won't work out. but i can see why there's some scratching of the head regarding Canales, Scott and Wells, and it has more to do with Jones, than it does with an of them individually. maybe that's all Jones is capable of getting? maybe he really is insecure enough to not bring in an OC and turn him loose? Or maybe he's got a real eye for coaching talent, and everyone else missed on these guys (Wells and Canales for sure given their overall tenures in coaching, w/out having had a shot like this before). i think Scott is a real up and comer, and i don't have a lot of trepidation on that hire. i don't really for Wells either. Canales...no idea.

we just won't know til we see it on the field.:peace2:

I think if he had an "eye for coaching talent" he wouldn't have had to can so many of his coaches.

well, i kinda put that in there just to offer up another possibility.....not saying that's actually true.

obvious BSIA v. 1.0, 1.5 weren't. now we get to see if v. 2.0 fits the bill.
