TDT: You seem particularly excited to begin the 2006 football season, and you've remarked several times about how painful the 2005 season was for you. What are your expectations for this season, and what are reasonable expectations for you and fans of Tennessee football in the years to come?

MH: First, I've got to tell a quick thing as it relates to the excitement of looking forward. I was with some friends last week, some other athletic directors. And I can't remember which one said it, and I'm going to paraphrase it, but in essence they said, as it relates to looking forward, `The front window is a lot bigger view than the rearview mirror.' So as it relates to the statements I've made publicly and everything, I'm sick about last year. But I've chosen to say, `All right, now it's behind us.' Life's not about what happens to you. It's how you react to what happens to you. So, let's move ahead.

Well said in my opinion.
