With the decision that was made Sunday afternoon with the head coach for TN. The entire UT football family is grouped together in the decision that was made. The entire country is either laughing at us or looking down on us. We can blame one person for this. What a absolute STUPID decision. I am still in shock he thought this would just go over without a hitch.:furious3:

Intelligent people aren't laughing at us, they're thankful that we are rallying against Schiano. So many of us hate the twitter justice warriors, but this was a necessary move to (hopefully) keep our program relevant. This too shall pass.

Actually, I've seen MANY folks on twitter being quite complimentary of Volnation for not accepting this craptastic hire - especially Penn state fans. It's the national sports writers that are shilling for Schiano. What looks bad is the UTAD. Our fanbase has never looked stronger, IMHO.

We will come out better for this mark my words. We showed we're the most passionate fanbase in all of CFB.

He went Rogue on this hire

He pissed off the 7 figure donors, ex-players and fan base.

Don't be fooled the former players and the big donors is the ones who got this one slammed in the can. The fans are just the face the media is using

Honestly I don't get this "look bad", "laughing stock" crap. Who the hell cares? It doesn't change a thing. We need a real hire and several years to get back to Tennessee football.

I don't give a damn about what ESPN or other fans say. VFL

I think there's a lot of people across the country that are giving our fanbase a lot of respect for standing up! The program as a whole is a laughing stock though.

It just goes to show what a bunch people can do if the all stick together. Now hire us a good coach and we will get behind them just as strong.

Is there a supporting link on this? Sounds totally believable but would be awesome if it’s on the record for supporting evidence in his dismissal letter

It reminds me of the Kiffin hire. There was a YouTube video about Schiano's NFL firing which was not complementary about his coaching style or his personality.

Fans pay all the bills, including these obscene salaries for coaches and the AD---and therefore, demand results.

F*** it.... ESPN, John Adams, and the rest of the media hated us(the fans) anyways. If they want to bag on the fans some more go for it. Not like it isn't normal. Since Fulmer we have had a womanizer, a dip sh**, and a rediculous used car salesman as our coach.. Just find an actual coach for once and we will probably do ok.

Im sure they did, but I assure you thousands fo people called, emailed, or tweeted their local and state lawmakers, and when 74 of them get involved......that too makes a difference.

Just throwing this out there about people saying we look bad. I have heard from several friends and others from teams across the SEC and as far as Michigan, New Jersey, Virginia, California and Ohio that are proud of our fan base and they congratulated us on what we accomplished today. You will hear negatives from idiots at ESPN and other outlets but what else is new there? Danny Kanell is a schmuck and nobody really cares what he has to say. I am guessing he will be part of the next round of layoffs at ESPN. I have also read other sports writers who loved what we did. Those are the ones that get it.

Do any of your friends have P5 championship coaching experience and need a job? That is who we need, not armchair warriors.
