A 7 loss record is one thing...

There is no excuse for poor performance! But damn the referees really did screw us! Every time our recievers ran down field - their dbacks had two hands on the hips holding. And then any contact from us was called even when they caught the ball. It was as if Haslam paid off the refs! But still no excuse for poor performance! I don’t know what difference it would have made perhaps some on couple of drives! Just pitiful they were so blatant and we didn’t have a coach that was even trying to work the refs at all!

See ya BBall!!

What is worse than that is Vanderbilt is now an expected defeat for me! 😥

You should be used to it since Butch's squad was thrashed two years in a row. And no Butch quitting on the team does not mean he escapes with a single thrashing. As a matter of fact it was his program that assured us of a 3rd loss in a row. The gift that keeps on giving.

But never fear, this will not last much longer. Certain coaches don't take kindly to losing and things will have to change quickly in their minds. Rest assure that CJP is already going to work and is motivated by this debacle.

I will only be mad at him in the future if he takes the foot off the gas when we are slaughtering these teams. No mercy.

CJP doesn’t know what he is doing and he has made that clear this season. He can be as motivated as anyone out there but if he and his crew can’t teach the O-line how to block, the QB how to read a blitz and call an audible, and the defense how to tackle then his level of motivation really doesn’t matter.

Pruitt overpaid for an OC that only looked decent with a 1st rd NFL QB running his plays and an O-line coach that was run out of UGA. These guys better deliver a top 10 recruiting class or we have wasted another 3+ years on over paying discount coaches

I will address your remarks that are full of holes.

First, this team won a total of 4 games last year with an offense that went over a month without a TD, an offensive line that gave up more sacks than almost any in UT history with a healthy Trey Smith and with the majority of Butch Jones recruits that even he could not win with and Jones himself waves the white flag and quit with several games left in the year after lecturing the fanbase with his cliches.

The defense the last two years has been some of the worst that UT has ever fielded rivaling Sunseri's sieves for worst of all time. Holes so big you could have a Special Olympics wheel chair race through them. But you want to lecture the rest of us and get us to believe these players learned bad fundamentals under this staff. They can't tackle good because they are weak and they aren't that good. But let me guess, you still think Butch recruited at a high level and we are talented. Butch couldn't even recruit a set of great corners in 5 years.

Last CPF negotiated the contracts. He's the AD. He makes the final decision, I'm sure with counsel.
