livefaith is trying to make a subtle point I believe. And that point is, that its never good enough for some people. Now, I get that human nature dictates that more is always wanted despite what you have already accomplishes. But lets take a step back and look at what has already been accomplished. Many people declared the season a success if we beat UF. Checked that one off the list, but its not good enough. Then people commented that you HAVE to beat a first year coach at UGA with a freshman QB. Checked that one off too. Now, I take no moral victories out of the A&M game, but the team still played well despite 7 turnovers, and still amazingly had a chance to win the game. So, that brings us to the Elephant in the room:hi:. Alabama blew our doors off, but it didn't derail the rest of the season like a lot of people are acting like it did. The season is barely half-way over, and the odds still favor Tennessee to win the East and earn a rematch with that juggernaut in Crimson. A lot of things could change between then and now, but this is not the time to throw in the towel. This team has already accomplished so much, and I don't think they are done.

No way we go 14-2.

I have to agree. If we don't get some of these injured players repaired, this season is teetering on the brink. We will be hard pressed to finish 3-2 with the team we fielded this past Saturday. That team is very close to the 2014 team in ability and experience.

If we win our last 5 games, the idiots will shut up. They just haven't gotten enough opportunity to stamp their feet this year so they are getting it out while they can. Winning cures everything.

Well said. No one has had anything to gripe about all year til now so they're taking full advantage! We should win out even with all the injuries.

True...if make it to Atlanta and upset the West Champ...it means no SEC team in the playoff...

Nothing would make me happier than upsetting Bama in the SEC championship game and destroying their dreams of another national title. We will not be selected for a playoff spot with two losses, and if we aren't going to hell with the SEC rah rah stuff. Here's hoping we finish 12-2 with a solid New Year 6 bowl win. And go Washington for the NC.

I dunno, im not saying its a high probability but it has a chance. It has to be beating an undefeated Alabama or AnM in the SEC CG. No way they leave a 1 loss SEC school out, and if we gain redemption against either one of those undefeated teams, you have a great argument to put us in also.

Baylor won't have a championship game, Washington has a weak schedule, and the Big 10 only gets 1 school (*not a rule but it should be that conference has Rutgers *I argue that Kentucky/Vandy would beat them by at least 3 tds)

Obviously we have to win out, and thats a long shot, but the way college football goes a lot of these undefeated/1loss teams will probably loose (some to each other)

I'm just saying, theres a chance:crazy:

You really think beating USc, UK, MY, Mizzou and Vandy will shut the keyboard coaches on here up? Not going to happen. Butch and his staff will still suck. Even though he has consistently improved our football program since he has been here.

Although I hope UT will win out......I think we will end the regular season at 9-3 and play some Big-10 chump in the Gator Bowl and totally destroy them with the final season stats at 10-3 (which is a program definitely moving in the right direction).

Again, I hope we win out and play 'Bama again, but its still a long season. UF has to lose to somebody and playing at Arkansas and at LSU should provide a loss.

Let's open up the playbook and start running up enough points on the scoreboard this last half of the season to strengthen the case for a playoff after the SEC championship while we leave it for chance to make sure the unbeatens lose a couple in the process and maybe sneak in the back door somehow.
